KIDS’ EARLOBE PIERCINGS

FAQs

What is the piercing process like?

Before the piercing, there is paperwork to complete with aftercare education and jewelry selection. After picking out jewelry, we will explain the process to minor and parent, answering any questions. We feel it is important that everyone understand they can change their mind, say no, and stop the process at any time, if they choose. We book an hour appointment to ensure plenty of time for this process.

Do we need a consultation before getting pierced?

A free consultation appointment is strongly advised for all children and REQUIRED for under 10. During this consult, your child can tour the studio and meet a piercer to ensure they are comfortable with the piercing experience.

What age do you pierce kid’s earlobes?

We pierce earlobes on children age 5 and older with parent present. Nine years or younger, we require a free consultation prior to the piercing appointment.

How much does it cost?

The average price is $180+ for a pair of earlobes. A single earlobe piercing fee is $40 plus $50 for average jewelry. Both earlobes are $80 piercing fee and $100 for a pair of average jewelry. Our studio has a large selection of jewelry options and we encourage you to contact us for questions and cost of specific styles.

What kind of jewelry do you use?

We use implant grade titanium and 14k or 18k gold jewelry in the studio. The jewelry that is worn in the piercing is titanium with the option to choose decorative gold fronts. All of our earlobe jewelry has a flat-back style, making it less likely to get caught or tangled, in comparison to standard earring backs.

What do we need to bring to the appointment?

Photo ID of parent and birth certificate of minor getting pierced. If the minor is 10 years or older, they must also have a photo ID (such as passport or student ID).
